To start things off here is a picture of me on Sunday of Art-A-Whirl, the final day of our Northeast Minneapolis 3 day art festival, right after I wrapped up an outdoor torchwork demo at the California Building / Mojo Coffee Gallery! This demo was organized by Foci (Minnesota Center for Glass Arts) and their incredible flame working staff. They set up a little mixed glass oxygen and propane flame, plus brought a variety of glass rods to melt with. I created quite a few glass beads in boro to demonstrate the various ways I sculpt glass on the torch; this included a strawberry and pickle (one of which is pictured at the bottom of this email). I had too much fun doing this so I will definitely be doing it again in the near future.

I will be spending 2 Saturdays of every month popping up my glass shop at the Northeast Minneapolis Farmers Market located at 629 2nd St NE Minneapolis, MN 55413 (Corner of University Ave & 7th Ave NE). This has been my neighborhood summer market for the past 10+ years. Join me on one of these upcoming Saturdays anytime from 9am-1pm to help celebrate my second year as a vendor!

Stained Glass Class
